1. On Saturday, April 14, 2018 Philadelphia’s NCAA Division I Basketball Coaches hosted the 15th Annual American Cancer Society Coaches vs. Cancer® BasketBall Gala at the Park Hyatt at the Bellevue Hotel in Philadelphia. The event began with a cocktail reception and silent auction followed dinner and dancing. The BasketBall Gala brings together Philadelphia’s NCAA Division I men’s basketball coaches and more than 500 guests to raise funds for the lifesaving mission of the American Cancer Society. Gala proceeds benefit cancer research and patient services in the Philadelphia area. The 2018 BasketBall honorees were Steve Rosenberry, Assistant General Manager of the Portland Trailblazers and his wife, Kathi Tommasino, a breast cancer survivor.
