1. Dozens of motorcyclists in the middle of the eight-state Dream Ride 2019 stopped at the Valley Forge Sheraton Hotel to greet Special Olympics athletes on Thursday afternoon, August 22, 2019. The bikers gave the young athletes encouragement to keep pursuing their sports. 6ABC’s Katie Katro emceed the event.The Dream Ride began in Palm Beach, Florida and ends in Farmington, Connecticut. Two German Shepherd Police Dogs were given to the Radnor and Lower Merion police departments during the Dream Riders reception at the Sheraton Valley Forge Hotel reception. Michael Bozzuto, the founder of The Hometown Foundation and Dream Ride made the presentation.It was a “surprise” to the crowd and to the police!
