1. On Thursday, November 5, 2015 Helpusadopt.org celebrated its eighth birthday with a benefit and auction at Overbrook Golf Club in Villanova. More than 150 attended. The event featured a VIP reception, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, grant recipient speakers, an auction and dancing. Helpusadopt.org. a non-profit (501(c)3) organization is a financial assistance grant program that provides qualified couples and individuals (regardless of race, religion, marital status or sexual preference) with grants of up to $15,000.00 towards adoption expenses. The grants are awarded twice a year (June and December). Helpusadopt.org was founded by Becky and Kipp Fawcett in response to their struggle with infertility and the adoption of their son Jake.
