1. Fearless Regional Director Ettore Ceraso and Fearleess Director of Business Development Sydney Grims welcomed CBS-3 Anchor Jessica Kartalija and Main Line Today Senior Editor Melissa Jacobs as they entered the main dining room, Sala Grande, during Rosalie’s pre-opening celebration on Wednesday, September 9, 2020.

Rosalie is named for owner Marty Grims’ mother, a second-generation Italian immigrant. “The story of “Rosalie” is first and foremost about family. It is about generations of many families
that have come together to bring Rosalie to life. It is about the families that will dine with us, that we will nurture, and treat as if they are our own. The notion of family is reflected
in everything we do. The origins of the name and food, the way we treat our guests, it is ALL about family,” explained Grims. Rosalie features 60 seats in Sala Grande, the main dining room, 60 seats on the Portico, the porch, and for private events, there are 32 seats in the Salotto, 30 seats in the Sala Piccola,100 in the Atrio, the Lobby Lounge for cocktails or 150 in the Sala Grande. Rosalie is also available for buyouts and can seat 200 reception style.

The bar features a custom mural emulating the look of an old Italian street scene and trattoria styled booths in the bar dining area. All four of Rosalie’s dining rooms provide a uniquely
intimate dining experience with their own personalities featuring vintage basket wrapped wine bottles, Polenta Paddles, vintage cutting boards, and ravioli rolling pins.the outdoor porch, the Portico, has woven bistro chairs and marble top tables under lazy ceiling fans that transport guests to the seaside villages of Italy.“Rosalie will offer an international wine list of 120 bottles with a focus on Italian wine, the beer list will be a combination of local craft and international favorites and there will be Italian inspired versions of classic cocktails,” according to Fearless Director of Beverage Len Boris.

Rosalie will be open Monday – Thursday 11am-9pm, Friday 11am-10pm, Saturday 10am -10pm and Sunday 10am- 9pm. Weekends feature an all-day menu following brunch at 2 pm. Rosalie will feature
live music Fridays and Wednesdays from 5-9 pm, Saturday 5-9 pm, and Sunday from 11 am-2 pm.

The menu features housemade pasta and traditional stone-fired pizza as well as panini, antipasti, and entrees. Devine said, “The menu is pretty flexible in that guests can create their own
experience as simple or as elaborate as they want. Want a few “stuzzichini” (traditional bar snacks/finger foods) and a glass of wine? We got you. Want to experience a more formal “Quattro
Piatti” (traditional Italian four-course meal)? Well, we can do that too. We will source heavily from local farms and the menu will change frequently to reflect seasonality. We are not
region-specific and instead plan to celebrate the eclecticism of Italian food by cooking from all the regions,” he added.

New York celebrity hairstylist Joel Warren and Philadelphia’s most sought after hairstylist Artur Kirsh to open The Salon Project at Saks Fifth Avenue in Bala Cynwyd in November 2020. The Salon Project is not just another salon, “It is a revolution in the industry,” Warren said adding, “the concept revolves around a single stylist overseeing “one vision” brought to life for the client from check-in to check-out.”

The Salon Project was born from an a-ha moment when Warren, a leader in the haircare industry for over 30 years realized that, although styles and services were constantly evolving, the traditional salon model stayed the same. He created a salon experience that offers expert stylists, curated products, and state-of-the-art technology – and now he is bringing that all to
the Philadelphia area. Warren created a partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue in 2017, which includes a national roll-out of at least 12 salons, from the suburbs of Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey to St. Louis, San Antonio, Houston and Washington, DC.

At The Salon Project, customers are able to have multiple treatments with the same stylist from cut to color to Keratin treatments to extensions, eliminating the need to have contact with multiple stylists during one visit, making it convenient for the guest and easier to implement social distancing. iPads equipped with augmented reality technology can be used if a customer wants to virtually try on a cut, color or extensions or learn more about a product. And hairdressers can complete retail transactions with customers via iPad, again eliminating additional contact during social distancing. The Salon Project will adhere to all COVID best practices including requiring masks, socially distanced stations and the frequent sanitizing of high touch
areas.

“This is an exciting collaboration and one that has been in the works for a little while,” said Kirsh who was splitting his time between his Artur Kirsh Salon at the Bellevue in Philadelphia and at Warren’s Manhattan location as well as at his locations in Miami Beach and Boca Raton. Kirsh began his journey into the world of styling and cosmetology at the age of
sixteen. He moved to New York in the mid-1990’s, where he quickly made a name for himself as a promising young talent on the rise. After gaining experience at a Manhattan studio, Artur moved to Philadelphia.

Kirsh, specializes in coloring and a style called “dry cutting,”, and is well known in the fashion circle. He is the go-to stylist for models and local celebrities. Over the years, he has styled luminaries who range from local and national news reporters from all major networks to celebrities including Celine Dion, Kathy Griffin, Nicole Miller and Ken Downing. He has styled
the supermodels of New York and Milan’s Fashion Weeks, the Chanel Trunk Show, Christian Louboutin Fashion Show at Neiman Marcus, the Carmen Marc Valvo Fashion Show and the Derek Lam Fashion Show.

Warren’s celebrated clientele include Christie Brinkley, Jerry Hall, Cindy Crawford, Sarah Jessica Parker, Julianne Moore and Zoe Kravitz to name a few. He is a sought-after industry expert, appearing on dozens of television shows, magazines and blogs promoting his vision, including the Today Show, Wendy Williams, Vogue, GQ, Salon Today, The Cut, New York Post and many more.

FEARLESSPHOTO3

“This is the second year we’ve made Semicolon, a beer that benefits the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The response last year was amazing – so it was a priority for us to release Semicolon again this year, “ according to William Livingston, Brand Manager for Conshohocken Brewing Co.“Semicolon is going to be a different beer each year; it’ll be something we feel we want to showcase at the time. Our choice here is twofold: to reflect the spirit of the movement itself, the story isn’t over, and to shift the significance of the project to the cause itself. Last year we brewed an Amber IPA that featured the new hop varietal Sabro. This year’s Semicolon is a gluten-free Pale Ale. Golden, crisp, and pleasantly hoppy upfront with a smooth finish featuring notes of citrus and pine.”Len Boris, Director of Beverage for Fearless Restaurants said, “We offer Conshohocken Brewing Co. products in all of our locations. Fearless Restaurants believes in supporting local Dog businesses, one of the pillars of the foundation for our White Dog Cafe locations is using locally sourced products and another is giving back to the community, so this opportunity was a great fit for us.” Semicolon will be offered on tap at our four White Dog Cafe restaurants, Rosalie and Autograph Brasserie in Wayne, and Louie Louie in University City. It will be available in cans at the Moshulu and will be offered at all locations until the product runs out. Fearless Restaurants will donate $1 from the sale of each Semicolon purchase. “We are hoping our guests come out to enjoy this limited brew and also support a great cause,” Boris added.

Livingston said, “We chose the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention because we deeply respect the work they do and the approach they take. The foundation supports everyone affected by suicide and makes tangible efforts to ensure those resources are easily available and destigmatized.

AFSP’s growing nationwide network of chapters brings together people from all backgrounds who want to prevent suicide in communities. Families and friends who have lost someone to suicide, vulnerable individuals, mental health professionals, clergy, educators, students, community/business leaders, and many others energize the Philadelphia Chapter.

Conshohocken Brewing Co. is founded on the same American industrial spirit as the borough for which our brewery is named. Conshohocken, PA was an industrial national hub in the late 1800s – a time of bowler hats, small local breweries, and velocipede bicycles. We are carrying that same spirit forward through our hand-crafted beers and our personal commitment to each and every beer we brew. Brewing in small batches, each of our beers is uniquely crafted, allowing us to share innovative, fresh, high-quality beers with the good people of our communities.

1. The Women’s Auxiliary of St. Edmond’s Home for Children purchased a house in November 2017 to use as a Community Home. In 2020, renovations were completed, and three young women from St. Edmond’s Home moved to their new house at the end of July! This is the first Community Home that St. Edmond’s has opened. It enables the auxiliary to provide a true continuum of care for the individuals who are over 21 but have not found adult placement to meet their medically complex needs. The home has been fully renovated to provide accessibility consistent with the American Disabilities Act requirements. Renovations included combining two of the bathrooms into one large accessible bathroom, widening doorways, creating a concrete wheelchair ramp to the front door, and providing a lift from the garage to the living area among others. The Women’s Auxiliary of St. Edmond’s Home raised the funds necessary to purchase the cottage through the wonderful support of donors. Each year a Gala is held to honor those who have been incredibly generous to SEH and to raise money for the children. On Friday, October 23, 2020 a Blessing and Dedication was held at St. Philomena Cottage. James Amato, Secretary for Catholic Human Sevices of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Denise Clofine, St. Edmond’s Home Administrator, The Most Reverend John J.
